Up on Knox Brings a Casual, Brasserie Feel to the Neighborhood

Former Lark on the Park chefs, Dennis Kelly and Melody Bishop, bring the neighborhood to life with the help of Stephan Courseau, owner of Knox District’s iconic French bistro, Le Bilboquet. Aptly named, Up on Knox, Courseau is dedicated to capturing the elements of a brasserie, including the hours, which will run the entire day.

The oyster bar and wood-fired grill cuisine focuses on seasonality and emphasizes chef Kelly and Bishop’s California roots that inspired the locally-sourced menu. At the end of the day, Courseau aims to embody the ideal brasserie, “a restaurant that was just supposed to be for the people, for the community, the neighborhood.”
